A slightly more complicated way is to use ghostscript and gsview. It politely allows one to perform a &#039;save as&#039; on a protected pdf and forgets to include the copy protection in the process.  Oops.  Not that I&#039;m promoting this type of behavior or anything like that.  I only know because a birdy told me.  Yeah, that&#039;s it, a birdy.
