IRC

You can chat on the McGrew Security IRC channel with any capable IRC client, such as irssi, XChat, or mIRC.  Here’s the information you’ll need:

• Server: irc.freenode.net
• Channel: #mcgrewsecurity

My IRC nick is “cs_weasel”, if you’re looking for me specifically.  I connect to IRC through a GNU Screen session, which keeps me connected even when I’m not attached to the session.  For this reason, don’t be surprised if I don’t talk, even though I appear to be in the channel.  When I do re-attach to the session, I will scroll back up to see what’s been going, and check my private messages.

Feel free to drop in, chat with me and others, and/or idle like it’s 1995.
